The Audio-Technica ATH-WBLTD is a limited-edition wired closed-back headphone — only 300 units available worldwide — that brings the award-winning three-layer wood housings of the 60th-anniversary ATH-WB2022 to a purely analog design. Each earcup is crafted from maple, walnut, and mahogany, a layered tonewood construction that lends the sound a warm, natural character while making every pair visually unique.

Inside, 45 mm HD drivers with a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coated diaphragm — designed and manufactured in-house — deliver dynamic bass and superior articulation in the upper-mid and treble ranges. A high-performance magnetic circuit with an integrated pure-iron yoke improves transient characteristics for faithful reproduction of demanding material; female vocals and string instruments are rendered with striking detail. The frame and housing structure were completely redesigned and specially tuned for analog connections, yielding a responsive, expressive soundscape.
