The 2mm brass shell features a hand-applied Vintage Patina finish, developed at Gretsch’s U.S. factory to capture an authentically worn appearance. Enhanced with 45-degree bearing edges, 4mm die-cast hoops, and a 20-strand snare wire, this drum offers articulate attack and responsive tonal control—ideal for both studio and stage. It comes equipped with Gretsch’s classic Lightning throw-off and a standard Permatone drumhead. Each drum includes an internal label signed by Keith Carlock and marked with its year of production, making it a collectible as well as a performer’s tool.
